The Assembly Rooms showreel site
Video showreel site for a film editing company. The Assembly Rooms needed a means of showing prospective clients and directors the showreels of their editors, in the best possible quality. The site and backend I created has been active for almost ten years, and has been flexible enough to expand as new editors have joined the company.
The site features some complex actionscript to playback the best quality video regardless of the visitor's bandwidth. Reels can be created and reordered by the editors themselves, and any number of custom reel pages can be created for one-off or private reels.
Finally, the site also features a gallery section which is managed via a bespoke content management system, allowing the company to promote its regular exhibitions and private viewings.
